Client: The individual identified in a Quote, who will be introduced to one or more Service Provider(s).
Quote: A written quotation supplied by My Big Move (in electronic format or via our Website or by email or in hard copy) to a Client setting out the Service or Product requested by the Client and an indicative fee for the Services based on the information supplied to My Big Move by the Client.
Searches: The third party enquiries made of third-party authorities that include but are not limited to searches made of the local authority, Land Registry, company providing private or personal search services, water authorities etc.
Website: Located at www.mybigmove.co.uk or any subsequent URL which may replace it.
United Kingdom: England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands.
Service Provider: A solicitor, property lawyer practice or firm, or a surveyor practice or firm or other third party practice or firm introduced to the Client by My Big Move.
1.1 The website known as mybigmove.co.uk is a tool to allow our providers/members to promote their Services to you our clients. Members provide information about their Services and their fees and also give details about their business on their profile page.
1.2 Selected parts of Member information may be displayed on the website and emailed to you in response to your enquiry so that you can contact them directly. In turn, a member will be notified by email when any of their information is displayed and/or emailed to you, together with your details so they can contact you.
1.3 Remember we are not involved in any discussions, negotiations or agreements between you the client and our members.
1.4 Please note that these Conditions let you know the terms on which you may use the My Big Move website (our site known as mybigmove.co.uk), whether as a guest or a registered user. Use of our site includes accessing, browsing, or registering to use our site.
1.5 Please read these Conditions carefully before you start to use our site, as these will apply to your use of our site. We recommend that you print a copy of this for future reference.

1.11 These terms and Conditions contain the entire terms governing the relationship between us. No variation of these terms and Conditions shall be valid unless it is in writing and signed on behalf of each of us.

16. Conveyancing Quotes
16.1 We comply with Chapter 9 of the Solicitors Regulation Authority (“SRA”) Handbook ‘Fee Sharing and Referrals’ - http://www.sra.org.uk/solicitors/handbook/code/part3/rule9/content.page . Any solicitor or registered European lawyer to whom we may refer you is an independent professional from whom you will receive impartial and confidential advice. You are free to choose another solicitor or registered European lawyer.
16.2 The Solicitors Regulation Authority (the independent regulatory body of the Law Society of England and Wales.) permits solicitors to make agreements with their introducing sources for referral work. Such agreements must comply with Chapter 9 of the SRA Handbook ‘Fee Sharing and Referrals’ which contains strict rules to safeguard your interests as the customer. My Big Move Limited and the panel solicitors have entered into a formal referral agreement under Chapter 9. My Big Move Limited will charge each quoting solicitor a fee of up to £9.99+VAT for quoting on their behalf. The fees quoted do not include disbursements such as local or environmental searches, telegraphic transfer fees or stamp duty.
16.3 Partners on mybigmove.co.uk who are regulated by the Council for Licensed Conveyancers, in are the process of signing an agreement with us confirming compliance with the CLC's Guidance Note 6 Disclosure of Profits and Advantages.

17. Our Rights
We reserve the right to:
17.1 Modify or withdraw, temporarily or permanently, this Website (or any part thereof) with or without notice to You and You confirm that we shall not be liable to You or any third party for any modification to or withdrawal of the Website; and/or
17.2 Change the Conditions from time to time, and Your continued use of the Website (or any part thereof) following such change shall be deemed to be Your acceptance of such change.
17.3 It is Your responsibility to check regularly to determine whether the Conditions have been changed. If You do not agree to any change to the Conditions, then You must immediately stop using the Website.
18.1 My Big Move are compliant with the new set of GDPR laws regarding data protection. We clearly state, and draw attention to, where the Client must opt-in and therefore give consent for My Big Move to pass the Client’s email to multiple Service Providers that are the most suitable.
18.2 The Leads we provide are not a statement of consent whereby they are added to Your mailing list. Their details are to be used for the Client’s enquiry only and the Service Provider accepts the Client’s private data will not be passed on to any third parties at any point, both during the case and after completion.
19. Agreement with Clients
The Client acknowledges and agrees that:
19.1 My Big Move does not provide Services and Products itself and does not agree to do so through the Agreement;
19.2 The Agreement relates solely to the provision of processing Services and not the Services and Products performed by Service Providers;
19.3 The inclusion of a Service Provider in a Quote is not a recommendation or an endorsement by My Big Move of that Service Provider;
19.4 The Client is solely responsible for assessing the suitability of any Service Provider to meet the Client's requirements (or those of its Clients) and the acceptability of a Service Provider's terms and Conditions for the performance of Services and Products;
19.5 The Client is responsible for checking that the name(s), address, date(s) of birth, postcode, property positioning, plan(s) used, areas covered, and all other information held by a Service Provider following the provision of a Quote and Instruction is correct; and
19.6 My Big Move shall in no circumstances be responsible for the performance of, failure to perform, or the quality of any Services or Products performed by a Service Provider.
20. Cancellation of Services and Products
20.1 Refunds are issued by a case-by-case basis, so if You are looking to cancel Your Service, please contact Us right away at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0114 303 0488 between 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday.
21.1 You agree fully to indemnity, defend and hold Us, and our officers, directors, employees, agents and suppliers, harmless immediately on demand, from and against all claims, liability, damages, losses, costs and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of any breach of the Conditions by You or any other liabilities arising out of Your use of this Website.
